Me: I don’t want to run.
Hubz: So, don’t run.
Me: But I have to run.
Hubz: Why?
Me: Because I’ll get behind.
Hubz: Behind on what?
Me: Behind on my training.
Hubz: But I thought you weren’t training for anything.
Me: I’m not.
Hubz: So, then what are you getting behind on?
Me: I told you!
Hubz: I realize YOU believe you are making sense, but on some level you are aware that you’re not, right?
Me: Yes.
Hubz: Okay, just checking.

I love you and your husband’s conversations – always entertaining!!
And, you never want to get behind on your training!!

Yeah, because getting behind on training for nothing is just wrong. I think your hubby should write a book. : )
Believe it or not, but I just had virtually the same conversation with myself yesterday. I wound up jumping on the treadmill for about 3 minutes and then called it quits. Problem was that I continued the conversation about why I gave in so easily for the rest of the evening till I just decided to go to bed early.
Thanks, Kim!
Marcia, I hope he never writes a book 🙂
I understand, Kent – I’ve done the same thing.
