Last night, my running friends had a little celebratory party for me, and it was so much fun! We laughed, reminisced, drank wine, and ate yummy food – all outdoors while watching the setting sun.
They gave me a very nice plaque…
And said some very nice things that made me blush.
And I felt very loved…and thankful for these wonderful people. I’ve run with many of them for almost 10 years, and I love them all dearly.
We have run all over the country together, seen each other through births, deaths, marriages, divorces, and everything in between. We are like a family. As much as I enjoy being in Los Angeles, I do miss my running group.
