Sabrina Moran, 25, crushed the American Record, held by Sue Ellen Trapp for 19 years, this past weekend at the North Coast 24 Hour Endurance Run. Sabrina was the first female with a total mileage of 147.90 (unofficial), beating the longstanding record by over 2.5 miles. Sabrina has burst onto the 24 Hour race scene, consistently PR’ing at multiple 24 Hour races each year. She has been fun to follow, as her talent for the event has been clear. Her performance at North Coast makes her the dominant female 24 Hour runner in the United States, and will most likely make her a force to be reckoned with at the 24 Hour World Championships in Poland, September 8-9, 2012.
