Off to Western States Training Camp

by Carilyn on May 25, 2012

I’m heading up to Auburn this morning for the Western States Training Camp.  My bags are packed like I am going to China for a week.

The weather is going to be a little iffy, so I had to bring multiples of everything.  The schedule calls for us to run 32 miles on Saturday, 19 miles on Sunday, and 21 miles on Monday – that’s a lot of running.  I guess I will find out if I’m fully recovered from the Born to Run 100k, or not!

Hope you have a great weekend!

What do you have planned for this Memorial Weekend?

Happy Running!

Have fun. Did you pack PayDays or is the memory of the last one still too fresh? Is that a bowling ball? I run with one too, but mine is attached; I’m working on that.
Good luck!

Enjoy and kick ass, but don’t fall or get lost!!!

You are too funny! I’m taking the PayDays because I haven’t found an alternative – yet. Hope I don’t puke 🙂 Hmmmm….bowling ball? I will have to look at the photo more closely.

You know I will fall! Hopefully, I won’t get lost with 750 people out there 🙂

That’s a real lot of running. I hope that chaffing has healed and that it’s not so sunny.

Run El Paso did a really nice chuck h. park-tin mine- to tom mays back to the cars off transmountain run. Dead last, but didn’t stop the relentless forward motion. Enjoy all of the WS training. So excited for you! Nico

That sounds like fun – love those runs! Hope I get to do a few this summer when I’m home.
